It was a beautiful day in Jacksonville, Florida.
Around fifteen Estonians had travelled to the other side of the world in order to witness Grete getting married to the man of her dreams among many amazing American friends and family members.
Grete and Joshua met for few hours in the fall 2015. That time I was just finishing my summer adventure in NYC, Josh was my new friend from that time who was sending me off to the airport and Grete was my dear friend who came to USA for my last two weeks there. Joshua was visiting his family in Jacksonville, at the time when Grete and I were discovering NYC and he made it back just few hours before it was time for us to go to the airport.
That was that, they saw each other for two hours and me and Grete flew to the other side of the world, to our beautiful Estonia. Months passed and one day Grete goes to FB and sees, that it is suggesting her to add this guy named Joshua to her friends list. She remembered that it the the guy who came to send us to the airport and she adds him to FB . . . and the rest is history.
I can honestly say that I have never been that nervous on the morning of shooting a wedding, I believe the way God put these two together and how I have seen Him working through out all this process where they couldn’t see each other for half a year because of the visa application and how Joshua visited Estonia for the first time and how Grete and Joshua complete each other and bring the best out of each other – it just makes me feel so thankful that I have had a part to play in His plan. I have to admit, I was quite worried about starting to cry at the ceremony and not being able to see what I take a photo of but luckily the photographer inside of me kicked out once it was time to capture their magical day.
